Hi, I’m Holly!
In my ceramic art, I use mostly hand building techniques – pinching, slab building, coiling, and occasionally a combination of all three. I love the experience of sculpting intuitively, until the shape is just right. I also hand paint all of my ceramic work, which sometimes requires the tiniest of paint brushes. Every single piece turns out unique - the animals all have slightly different personalities with their individual facial expressions and body shapes.
I also love to paint illustrations in ink, and I am working on a collection of printed goods with those illustrations.
